Laundry Steward(ess)
Salary : EUR 2000 to EUR 2500+ Per Month
Some yachts have a dedicated laundry person. This person will have superior knowledge and experience of garment care; stain removal, folding and ironing techniques.
Qualifications, training and skills required
- STCW & PSA
- ENG 1 Medical
- Stain removal
- Garment Care
- Sewing skills would be a bonus
- Time management
- Highly organised
- A background in hotels, housekeeping, or previous work in hotels, ski chalets or private houses would be advantageous
Extra desired training
- Housekeeping experience
- Land based experience in hotels or dry cleaners
