The Candidate Specification
We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Bar Steward/Stewardess to join a busy 70m+ private and charter yacht for the Mediterranean season. This is a fast-paced, guest-facing role suited to someone confident behind the bar with a strong hospitality background and a genuine passion for service excellence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full management of the bar area, including stock control, cleanliness, detailing, and presentation to the highest standards. During guest trips, this role is heavily service-focused and will require professionalism, energy, and consistency in delivering exceptional beverage service.
Candidates should be kind, honest, and confident, with the ability to work well under pressure and integrate seamlessly into an established interior team. Bartending and barista experience is essential, with mixology knowledge or formal qualifications considered a strong bonus. The Bar Steward/Stewardess reports directly to the Chief Stewardess and plays a key role in the overall guest experience onboard.
- Required experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role onboard yachts or within high-end hospitality environments.
