Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Motorman a 100m+ Research Vessel.
The motorman/oiler is part of the Engineering Department on board. This role carries out planned and routine maintenance tasks and cleaning of machinery parts as directed and assists the EOW as required.
Requirements
- Min STCW III/5
- Basic STCW and all other basic tickets up to date
- Experience on large vessels or explorer research vessels preferred
- Must have a positive, proactive approach and able self-manage themselves with regards to planned maintenance.
- Schengen or work permit for EU
Start date: ASAP
Location: Europe
Salary: TBC – industry standard
Leave: 8 weeks on / 8 weeks off
Vessel currently in the shipyard until end of year.
