Summary
We are currently seeking a 2nd Engineer for a 100m+ research vessel.
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer (watch keeper), to join an exciting new project. You will be responsible for managing the engineering spaces during shifts. The role will include other duties as designated by the Chief Engineer or 1st Engineer.
Requirements
- Min CoC A-III/2
- Must have extensive experience in similar position on similar sized yachts/commercial vessels.
- Preferable experience with Wartsila engines.
- USPH, Sanitation and Environmental training courses are appreciated.
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and manuals
- Familiarity with planned maintenance systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Good knowledge to VMS and MLC requirements.
- Team Collaboration - Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
