Summary
We are looking for a experienced temporary 2nd officer to join a busy private charter 65m M/Y
They have spent the winter in the yard undergoing a full refit, from May they will embark on a heavy med charter season
This is a high standard programme with the exterior team consisting of 5. The owners are family-oriented, respectful and professional.
Role:
Temporary 2nd Officer from May–end September (view to extend).
~80% deck focused: guest interaction, tender driving, watersports.
~20% bridge: watches, nav support, bridge admin & garbage officer duties
During this time you will be supporting Bosun towards OOW orals.
Requirements:
- Strong tender experience
- Established Officer with at least 6 months to a year in a 2nd officer role on similar sized programmes
- Transas ECDIS & Furuno radar competent
- Charter experience essential due to the heavy guest interactions
- Schengen Visa required
Package:
€5,500 p/m

Leave: MLC Standard leave - Accrued and paid out at the end of contract
Joining in: France at the start of May 2026
