Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solo Chef to manage all culinary operations onboard a private/charter 25m+ motor yacht. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals for both owners and crew, maintaining galley standards, and operating independently while meeting the expectations of a luxury yachting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare owner and guest meals to a high standard
- Prepare daily crew meals that are nutritious and well-presented
- Manage menu planning, provisioning, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and galley standards
- Work closely with the Captain and interior team to align on guest preferences and schedules
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient galley at all times
- Adapt menus to dietary requirements, allergies, and preferences
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Solo Chef on yachts 20–30m+
- Strong culinary background with Mediterranean and international cuisine
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid Food Hygiene Level 2 (or equivalent)
- STCW (valid)
- Flexible, professional, and calm under pressure
