Location: Dubai / RAK, UAE | Full-Time | Hybrid
Salary: AED DOE + Commission (paid upon successful candidate placement, equivalent to one month’s salary per hire)
We are growing our specialist recruitment team at Sovren Crew / IYR Middle East and are seeking an experienced Maritime Recruiter to join us in Dubai.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Source, screen, and place qualified yacht crew and maritime professionals globally
- Build and maintain strong relationships with yacht owners, management companies, and captains
- Manage recruitment pipelines across various positions (deck, engineering, interior, chefs, etc.)
- Collaborate with clients to understand vessel requirements and crew profiles
- Maintain up-to-date candidate records within our CRM and applicant tracking systems
- Represent Sovren Crew at industry events, yacht shows, and networking opportunities
- Develop candidate pipelines via job boards, social media, and industry networks
- Support onboarding and document verification processes
- Align recruitment efforts with broader company goals in collaboration with the wider team
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven recruitment experience in maritime, yachting, or luxury hospitality sectors
- Deep understanding of crew dynamics, certification requirements, and maritime standards
- Professional, polished communicator with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Minimum 1–2 years of recruitment experience; maritime or yachting background preferred
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet hiring targets
- Proficiency with recruitment platforms, LinkedIn, and applicant tracking systems
- Based in Dubai and willing to commute to our RAK office occasionally
- Flexibility to travel within the USA, EU, and MENA regions for yacht shows and marina visits
