Award winning 58 metre classic Motor yacht looking for a full time bosun to help run the deck team of 4 deckhands. Vessel operates all around the Mediterranean for charter and private use , with a crew of 18 as a single season vessel spending the winters just outside Barcelona in Vilanova I La Geltru. Great owners and charter guests that appreciate the boat and their crew which shows in repeat bookings. This would suit an established bosun or an experienced lead deckhand looking for a step up in position to develop their leadership skills together with the chance to keep progressing to hold a navigational watch onboard. All of the deck crew are involved with the ISM checklists and LSA/FFE/GMDSS weekly/monthly requirements. The suitable candidate should have very good maintenance skills with regards to painting and varnishing with carpentry skills an added bonus. Excellent tender driving as the bosun will be the main driver. Salary DOE, to be discussed at interview. Leave package is 60 days with an extra time allowance for training courses. Qualifications required: Yacht master Offshore as a minimum with some OOW modules completed ( ideally GMDSS and ECDIS). Please send a cover letter with your application.
