Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable AV/IT Officer 100m+ motor yacht.
This is an ideal role for candidates with strong AVIT skills but who are also fully competent with hotel electrics, programming and coding.
Requirements
· Specialized AV/IT certifications
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
· Demonstrated experience with AV/IT systems in a maritime setting
· Technically very strong on the AVIT side, confident when troubleshooting in guest-facing situations
· Strong analytical and documentation capabilities
· Excellent communication and project coordination abilities
· Independent, reliable, and capable of performing under pressure
Preferred
· Familiarity with systems such as- (Crestron, Kaleidescape, SeaTel, Starlink, Lutron, Foritgate, Peplink, QSC Audio, Bendac/Novastar Videowall. Cisco Networking, Autonomic, PVI Encoding/Decoding, Frankentek Security, VMware, Grandstream Telephony, IDEA, Pinpoint Works, Smartsheet, 1Password)
· B1/B2 Visa
Start date: Late January/early February
Location: Europe
Salary: EUR 10000+ DOE
Leave: 2:2 rotation
Vessel & itinerary- Private/Charter Yacht. Refit in the shipyard until Spring 2026. Dual season operations.
