Requirements: CHARTER experience
Proven record of captaining 30m+ for 3+ years
Good verifiable references
Good longevity
You will be responsible for managing crew up to 5
Good history of crew longevity - responsible for hiring your crew
Neat presentation, well spoken. Professional.
Good with warranty work and strong knowledge of engineering
Working well with the clients yacht manager.
Support and working as a team with both management and broker to ensure owner's best interest
Reliable, accountable and trustworthy.
Good record keeping/accounts.
About the job:
The owner is a professional with a family and lots of grandkids. Must be child friendly. They will use their yacht moderately. They look for around 10-12 charters per year. Good tips for the crew. They are experienced yacht owners. They will love to have a Captain that enjoys exploring. Giving them cruising options, etc.
There are a Mate/Engineer and CS team on board that the owner really likes. The Captain will hire the other 2-3 crew.
CAVEAT: There are crew accommodations for 5 crew. 2x bunks and 1 captain cabin. This means if the Captain is NOT a team, they will have one crew member share their cabin with a pullman during charters. This may typically be the CHARTER CHEF.
