Summary

Position: CHIEF/SOLE STEWARD/ESS - US citizen or Green card holder

COULD BE TEAM WITH MATE (preferably long term relationship on yachts working together)

Own cabin when there is no 2nd stew on board.

When on charter - there will be a 2nd stew hired and/or a stew/deck.

Yacht: 35m Motor Private with light Charters- US flag. Summer is typically private use.

Requirements: Experienced Chief/Sole Stewardess 1+ years ideally

Service, Housekeeping, Laundry, Provisioning, Beach set-ups, Theme dinners, etc. 

STCW + Refresher

Marine Medical (fit for duty) USCG or ENG1

Food Hygiene

US Citizen, Green Card holder, US work permit

Preferences:

Diving skills are a plus. The owners love to dive and you can go out as well.

Non-Smoking 

No Visible Tattoos 

1+ years on Yachts 

Confident, easy going and happy disposition

Light social drinkers - no heavy party types please

Clean and organized 

Positive nice attitude, team player, enjoys being active and healthy. Enjoys hiking, exploring, water activities.  

Job Description: The owners love to dive and fish. The crew enjoy going out exploring, hiking and water activities. During the summer the owners (casual and easy going) enjoys coming on board for a month or so and exploring/diving/fishing in the Bahamas. During the winter season they normally have some charters in the Bahamas. They do come back to FTL as well and dock here when not in the Bahamas.

The crew consist of the Captain/Engineer, Chef, Mate and Stewardess. 

Salary range:   Industry Standard Compensation Package. USD Good. All benefits to be discussed during interview/hiring process.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• Drivers License
• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Food & Hygiene Qualifications

• Food Hygiene (HABC Level 2)
