Position: Captain/Engineer - TEAM - FULL TIME   

Can Live off while docked in St. Petersburg, FL area. 

Must have 3+ years experienced on similar sized yachts 75'+ as a captain

Solid Engineering/Mechanical skills

STCW+ Refresher

PSCRB ideally

AEC 1/2+

GMDSS 

ENG1 or USCG fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)

US Passport valid for minimum 1 year 

Clean and Good Safety record 

Hands on

Easy to communicate with

Good record keeping

Experience cruising S. Florida, Bahamas, Caribbean

The ideal captain will possess the following attributes:

- Prior experience on similar sized yachts

- Exceptional communication skills.

- Proficiency in computer usage.

- Knowledge of accounting principles.

- Hands-on experience in the engine room and electronics for troubleshooting.

- The yacht is used for private purposes; the owners are experienced owner/operator and would like a compatible Captain/team to experience their new yacht.

- I believe there are two crew cabins - a captains double and a single with 1 head, small crew mess. 

- The owners are relaxed and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Looking for a nice fun team. They have a small family (high school and college age.

- The ideal candidate should be active.

- A proven track record of longevity and a relaxed demeanor.

- They want a hands on captain/engineer and a stew that will help with provisions, cleaning, laundry and some cooking. 

Other Requirements: Must be able to pass a background check. 

Responsibilities: Running a successful and enjoyable/safe private program

Job Specifics: The vessel will run with 2 crew. You can also hire a 3rd person as needed.

You will be expected to keep the yacht in top condition. Safety is most important. 

Moderate use.

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience. Very good USD 

Package: Medical coverage is provided, flights to and from the vessel, accrued paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process.

Commercial Registered Yacht: No - private under 500gt
