Summary
Seeking an experienced Mate for a well-run 120’ Moonen. This is a temp-to-permanent position for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have strong tender-handling skills, confidence with underway watches, and a calm, professional demeanor. You should be comfortable around children and confident both in and around the water.
The vessel carries a variety of tenders and water toys, so meticulous care and maintenance are essential. While the Bosun primarily manages tender operations, the Mate should be capable of taking over or assisting when multiple tenders are in use.
Program Details
- Current Location: Fort Lauderdale
- Holiday Schedule: Owners in town during Thanksgiving (may use tender only); potential Bahamas trip over the holidays
- Program Type: Private with occasional charter use
- Management: Fully managed yacht
Requirements
- Minimum Yachtmaster certification
- Strong large-tender handling experience
- Confident standing underway watches
- Hands-on maintenance experience with tenders and toys
- Professional, calm nature and family-friendly demeanor
- Team player who enjoys working within a small, close-knit crew
