Summary
West Nautical are seeking an experienced Chief Stewardess for an exciting 70m new build launching in Spring.
This is a great opportunity to join a yacht at the start of her launch, with all crew being newly appointed & to be involved in the hiring of the interior team under your command.
This is a dual season vessel, great owners & under the command of a Captain who has worked with the family for many years.
The owners have previously owned yachts, so are well versed in crew retention & keeping a positive, happy workplace at all times.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience on similar sized vessels, with at least 4 seasons. Longevity in a role is vital, with a minimum of 2 years in one position, can be from 2nd to Chief in this time.
Open to a couple as other positions are to be filled.
Qualifications required:
STCW, ENG1
IAMI GUEST relevant certifications a bonus.
WSET L2
Food & Hygiene L2
Previous experience of at least 2/3 years on similar sized yacht. Ideally 2 years in one role as longevity is important to the owner.
Must have strong interior skills in all departments including creating SOP's & training manuals.
EU Passport preferred.
Package offered:
€7,000 pcm
3 month trail period
60 days leave
Rotation not provided at the start but will come into place within the year.
