2nd Officer

Summary

• 100m+ Private motor yacht are looking for a 1^st officer to join them Mid-February 2026

• This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-run program with excellent captains and the opportunity to take the next step in your career!

• They are looking for an organised and driven officer holding CM unlimited as a minimum

• They are open to candidates coming from a commercial background, but you must have 5+ years’ experience as an officer. Yachting experience will be advantageous

• Your role will include mentoring the junior officers, bridge admin and navigation whilst working closely alongside the chief officer onboard

• The yacht runs a dual season program with some potential interesting cruising coming up this Spring!

• DP experience/qualifications would be beneficial

• Must hold SSO certification

• On offer is a fantastic packing including a salary of 7000 Euros, time for time rotation based on a 8 week on/off pattern, single cabin and a healthy annual training allowance towards courses

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
