BOSUN 50M MY:
We have an exciting opportunity for a true waterman to step into a hands-on Bosun role on a 50m charter yacht with an off the beaten track itinerary.
The role:
- Start date: ideally ASAP (or by mid Jan)
- Hands-on Bosun position leading the deck team day-to-day
- Busy charter program with a strong emphasis on fishing and water-based guest activities
- Extensive use of a 38ft Everglades tender - confident boat handling essential
- Supporting and leading a wide range of water sports; surfing knowledge a strong advantage
- Standing navigational bridge watches on passages, including time at the helm when Captain or Chief Officer are unavailable
- Excellent opportunity to build sea time and progress towards OOW
- Joining in the Caribbean
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3 years’ yachting experience
- Commercial Yachtmaster minimum
- Proven fishing experience and genuine passion - a key part of the onboard guest offering
- Strong all-round waterman skillset with confidence across multiple water sports
- Solid tender-driving and boat-handling skills with larger tenders
- Natural leader who is hands-on, motivated, and thrives in an active, outdoor-focused program
- B1B2 visa is essential
- Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements
