TEMP SECOND OFFICER 100M+:
We have a temporary opportunity for an experienced Second Officer to join a world-cruising 100m+ private yacht currently operating in the Caribbean. This is a bridge-focused role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, on a professionally run, large-yacht program.
The role:
- Temporary Second Officer position acting as Navigating and Safety Officer
- Contract from 2nd February to end of March, with potential to go permanent
- Strong bridge focus with responsibility for navigation, passage planning, and watchkeeping
- Oversight of safety systems, procedures, and compliance
- World-cruising private program operating Caribbean and Med
What we’re looking for:
- OOW Unlimited
- Previous experience as Second Officer on large yachts
- Excellent bridge procedures and navigational watchkeeping standards
- Proven leadership ability and confidence managing crew
- Strong tender-handling capability
- Required certifications: SSO, Advanced Fire Fighting, ECDIS, GMDSS, HLO
- B1B2 visa - essential
