Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Status: Live-in
A terrific opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated candidate to work for a high-net-worth family of four at their Central London home as a permanent, live-in Housekeeper/Cook. Working as part of a small team and reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you will have excellent housekeeping and laundry skills, a good eye for detail, and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. Occupied by a professional couple and their two teenage children, this is a busy family home where things can often change at the last minute, so someone with an adaptable nature and flexible approach is required.

The family enjoy a varied, healthy and organic diet and favour modern, clean cooking – they enjoy dishes such as roast chicken, flavourful fish and meat dishes with vegetables and vibrant salads. Responsible for grocery shopping, stock rotation and maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen, you will be highly organised and manage your time effectively.
The role will be a mix between housekeeping and cooking, depending on the family’s schedule, so the ideal candidate will be versatile and dynamic, as well as a brilliant team player with good communication skills who is able to work collaboratively with the other housekeepers to ensure that the household runs smoothly.
Working 5 days per week (including over weekends), usual working hours will be from 1pm-9pm, but flexibility might be required occasionally to work an earlier shift. You will have two consecutive days off per week and will be guaranteed one weekend off per month. Accommodation is provided in a self-contained unit (bedroom, bathroom & kitchen) within the home with a lovely garden view. The role is to start early 2026.
