We are seeking an experienced and professional Captain to join a well-run 98ft private motor yacht. This is a private program, offering a stable and rewarding position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
- Overall command and safe operation of the vessel
- Navigation and passage planning for Mediterranean and Caribbean cruising
- Full compliance with flag state, class, and maritime regulations
- Crew management, leadership, training, and performance oversight
- Budget management, accounting, and cost control
- Maintenance planning and coordination with engineers and contractors
- Owner liaison and ensuring a high standard of service and presentation at all times
- Overseeing safety drills, procedures, and onboard documentation
Requirements:
- Valid USCG 100GT or equilivant
- Minimum of five years experience as Captain on vessels of similar size
- Strong Mediterranean and Caribbean cruising experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Professional, calm, and solutions oriented approach
- Strong references from previous captains or owners
