We’re looking for an experienced Chief Stewardess to join a 43m private/charter motor yacht currently on the U.S. West Coast. The yacht will be entering the shipyard soon, so we’re looking for someone confident, organized, and ready to take the lead on getting the interior fully set up for its first charter season.
Position Details
- Vessel: 43m foreign-flagged motor yacht
- Location: West Coast, USA
- Start Date: Ideally within the next 2 weeks
- Program: Private/Charter
- Yard Period: You’ll be taking charge of the interior during the yard, working with contractors, organizing the workflow, and building the interior systems and standards needed for a smooth first season.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Chief Stewardess experience on vessels 40m+
- Someone who’s comfortable in a yard environment and can manage the planning, scheduling, and coordination that comes with it
- A strong background in service, bartending, housekeeping, and general interior operations
- Charter experience is a big plus, as you’ll be helping set the tone for the yacht’s first charter season
- A positive attitude, great communication skills, and the ability to fit in quickly with a close crew
- A confident, well-rounded interior leader who can jump in wherever needed

- Comfortable creating structure, systems, inventories, and service flow
- Hands-on and easy to work with
- Excited about building a fresh interior program from the ground up
