Overview
M/Y 120ft is seeking a motivated, professional Deckhand to join a well-run, private 120’ program. The yacht operates with 5 full-time crew and is based year-round between Baker’s Bay and Florida, with high but manageable owner usage. The program is structured and steady, ideal for a crew member who enjoys a consistent pace with occasional long passages and seasonal Med deployment.
This role is perfect for someone with an AEC (Advanced Engineering Certificate) or strong interest and skills in engineering, who is eager to learn and grow while contributing to daily deck operations and supporting the Captain/Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily maintenance and operation of the vessel’s exterior systems
- Handling and driving the 41’ Valhalla tender (experience or willingness to learn required)
- Assisting the Captain/Engineer with deck operations, docking, navigation prep, and vessel systems
- Supporting interior crew or stewardess with light tasks as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness and order across all deck areas
- Monitoring inventory, lines, and deck equipment
Role Requirements
- Prior experience as a deckhand or in yachting preferred
- AEC or strong interest/skills in engineering
- Experience or willingness to drive tenders and watercraft
- Strong work ethic, team player, and willingness to learn
- Calm, professional demeanor
- All certifications up to date (STCW, ENG1, etc.)
- Must be legal to work in the U.S.

Additional Notes
- Crew enjoy access to marina facilities, including pool, jacuzzi, gym, etc.
- Program involves cruising Florida, Bahamas/Caribbean in winter, and Med Summer 2026
- Owner onboard 90% of the time, typically for 1–2 month stints
- Predictable, steady program with opportunities to grow technical skills under the Captain/Engineer
