Summary

We are seeking a dedicated ETO/Engineer to join our team on an 85m expedition vessel operating worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and management of all onboard IT systems, including computers, audio/visual equipment, and specialized scientific apparatus. You will implement cybersecurity measures, oversee user access, and ensure the integrity of network infrastructure. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between the crew and scientific teams, supporting research operations and maintaining lab safety. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Marine Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in systems administration and familiarity with scientific research equipment. A collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a multicultural maritime environment are essential. Candidates must be prepared for extensive onboard living and adhere to international maritime regulations.
