Summary
2nd Officer – 60m Charter Yacht (60% Bridge / 40% Deck)
Start date: 18th December 2025, must hold OOW.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated 2nd Officer to join a 60m charter yacht. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to strengthen their bridge skills while remaining hands-on on deck as part of an active, charter focused program.
Key Responsibilities
Bridge
- Passage planning and voyage preparation
- Maintaining all LSA and FFE, including weekly and monthly inspections
- Maintaining vessel logbooks (GMDSS, Garbage Record Book, etc.)
- Oversight of garbage management and proper documentation
- Delivering crew training on emergency duties, vessel procedures, and safety standards
Deck
- Assisting on deck, especially during guest operations and charters
- Supporting the Bosun with daily and weekly work lists
- Teaching junior crew members essential deck skills
- Participating in water sports operations and guest activities
- Tender driving
Experience
- Solid background in yachting, having worked up through the ranks
- Confident, adaptable, and willing to get stuck in on deck
- Positive attitude toward water sports and guest interaction
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Strong attention to safety, organisation, and professional standards
- Good tender driving experience.

Between charters, the role becomes more bridge focused, offering significant opportunity for development under longstanding Chief Officers and Captains who are committed to mentoring the right candidate.
