Deck/Engineer in France

Summary

We are seeking a Deck Engineer to join the crew of a busy 30m charter yacht based in Cannes.

Deck Engineer Position

30m private and charter motor yacht

Permanent position to start 1st of Jan 2026

Yachtmaster, AEC1 and AEC2

The yacht charters 15+ weeks per season with 24-48-hour turnarounds

Extensive range of water toys launched and cared for by the deck crew

The vessel is currently in the process of being sold, with purchase date planned for the 1st of May

4 weeks charter already booked

The role offers potential progression to Captain in 2026–2027 once the vessel is sold

Contract: Permanent

Experience: 2 Seasons+

Salary: 3000EUR

Qualifications: Yachtmaster Offshore, AEC1 & AEC2

Itinerary: Cannes

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
