Summary
A 90-foot private motor yacht is looking for a confident and versatile Deck/Stewardess to join our private vessel in La Paz, Mexico, starting in one week.
This is a family-oriented vessel owned by lovely Central American owners, known for their respectful and friendly nature.
The atmosphere on board is relaxed, positive, and ideal for someone looking for a healthy work-life balance.
The role is a true dual position, with the focus shifting depending on whether guests are onboard. When guests are present, the job is primarily interior—about 90%—covering housekeeping, laundry, guest service, and basic drink preparation. Without guests, the balance becomes roughly 40% interior and 60% deck, supporting daily washdowns, lines and fenders, watchkeeping, and general deck operations.
The yacht carries a 33 ft Invincible Catamaran tender and a range of toys including kayaks, e-foils, seabobs, and dive gear. Any experience with toy operations is welcome, and while tender driving skills are ideal, we are willing to train. Watchkeeping experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided if needed.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a similar role and must hold a valid ENG1, STCW and b1/b2 VISA.
This is a hands-on yacht with no Chief Stew onboard, so we are looking for someone mature, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative.
The salary offered is $3,500–$4,000 per month, with 38 days of leave per year, one return flight home, and medical included. Accommodation is shared with the Captain, though he uses the cabin very rarely.
The yacht’s next scheduled trip is a New Year cruise lasting about 7–10 days, and we are seeking someone who will integrate well into a small, supportive crew environment and contribute positively from day one.
