Operations Manager - Luxury Hospitality Concept

We are seeking a worldly, grounded and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead daily hospitality operations within a luxury hospitality concept which focuses on well-being and rejuvenation of its guests, its people, and the land. It is located near Cape Town, South Africa & you will act as the central connector across all teams cultivating operational excellence while honouring the relational and intuitive nature of the sanctuary.
This role requires a leadership balance that includes structure with softness, precision and presence to ensure exceptional guest journeys from start to finish.
Guests embark on personalised journeys of restoration and healing — guided by daily nature-led experiences, intuitive wellness treatments and a rhythm of simplicity.
This is a truly unique environment, not a traditional hotel and it has become recognised as a visionary leader in conscious and purpose-driven hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead operations across guest services, housekeeping, F&B, wellness and programming
• Coordinate team flow to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout their stay
• Develop and refine SOPs, systems and structures to enhance consistency and ease
• Manage staffing, scheduling, admin, budgeting and inventory
• Support and guide departmental leaders to raise operational standards
• Translate high-level vision into action with clarity and calmness
• Prevent and resolve operational challenges proactively and sensitively
• Uphold the energy, environment and guest journey the sanctuary is known for
What we are looking for:
• 5+ years’ experience in luxury hospitality, wellness retreats or purpose-driven environments
• Hands-on and humble, willing to support wherever needed
• Skilled at leading teams with accountability and care
• Calm and solutions-focused under pressure or last-minute changes
• Strong with digital tools, reporting, scheduling and operational organisation
• Personally aligned with values of regeneration, wellness and intentional living
