Operations Manager – Private Yacht
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a 100m+ yacht. This pivotal role ensures efficiency, cohesion, and excellence across all departments, while maintaining the highest standards expected in a private yachting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and support cross-functional teams, fostering a professional and collaborative onboard culture.
- Coordinate operations, ensuring smooth execution of schedules, itineraries, and guest services.
- Monitor checklists and operational procedures, ensuring accountability and consistent follow-through.
- Oversee compliance, organize training, and maintain operational manuals and standard procedures.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and collaborate with leadership on financial reporting and forecasting.
- Facilitate communication across departments and with external partners to solve challenges efficiently.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and operational reviews to drive continual improvement.
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing development of crew members.
- Ensure operations align with the yacht’s strategic objectives and maintain the highest standards of service.
Requirements:
- Experience in operations or management.
- Experience within a leadership role on Private Yachts over 70m
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within yachting or luxury hospitality operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with all crew levels.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Ability to manage work across multiple time zones and flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Willingness to travel internationally (10–15%).
- Passion for learning and ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
