Lead Deckhand / Relief Bosun – 80m World-Cruising Private/Charter Yacht
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Lead Deckhand to join our deck department on an 80m world-cruising private/charter yacht. The ideal candidate will step up into the Bosun role for approximately 4 months each year, so strong leadership skills, confidence, and excellent deck knowledge are essential.
- Start Date: Early December 2025 in Indian Ocean
- Itinerary: Med/Indian Ocean
- Leave : 90 Days
- Salary: DOE
- Contract: Full MLC Contract
- Cabin: Due to cabin arrangements, this position requires a female candidate.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone fit, motivated, and ready to lead by example. A positive attitude and the ability to bring good energy to the team are key, as we already have a great vibe onboard.
The yacht has a great worldwide itinerary and runs a consistently busy program, offering plenty of variety and sea time throughout the year. It is a well-managed vessel with a supportive crew and a genuinely positive onboard atmosphere.
Essential Requirements
- Yachtmaster Offshore
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience on large yachts (60m+)
- Confident tender driver (Jet/Waterjet experience advantageous)
- Proven leadership ability and confidence stepping up into Bosun duties
- High level of fitness and willingness to get involved in all deck tasks
- Strong teamwork mentality and an upbeat, positive attitude
- Professional, guest-focused demeanor
- Valid STCW, ENG1, PDSD, SDB
