Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and professional Female Second Officer to join a dual-season Private/charter motor yacht with a worldwide itinerary including the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean.
This is a busy, well-run program offering excellent longevity and a supportive, motivated crew environment.
The ideal candidate will be:
- An experienced OOW with at least 1 year in a licensed officer position (preferably 2nd Officer/Nav Officer experience).
- Strong in navigation, safety, and tender driving, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Confident working under pressure, calm in demeanor, and focused on safety and standards.
- Positive, approachable, and motivated, bringing energy and balance to a well-established team.
This position offers a balanced split between Bridge and Deck, ideal for a confident and experienced officer who enjoys time on the bridge while remaining an active part of deck operations.
The role:
- Assist the Chief Officer with all navigational, safety, and ISM/ISPS duties.
- Take a proactive role in bridge organisation, including passage planning, watchkeeping & Charts/Publication updates
- Proficiency with the Wärtsilä Navi-Sailor 4000 ECDIS
- Lead and mentor the deck team, ensuring safe and efficient operations
- Have hands-on experience with large jet tender handling and support day-to-day deck work when required.
This is not a sole bridge role - we’re looking for someone who enjoys being both on deck and in the wheelhouse, with a strong sense of teamwork and professionalism.

Qualifications: Minimum MCA Officer of the Watch (OOW 3000GT or higher)
