Position: Second Engineer – 78m Motor Yacht
We are seeking an experienced Second Engineer for a 78m private dual-season motor yacht, recently launched and currently based in the Mediterranean. The vessel is fully MLC and commercially registered and looking at making the commercial transition with charters booked in the near future.

- Salary: DOE (paid in EUR)
- Language: Fluent English (written & spoken)
- Qualifications: 2nd Eng Unlimited, Y3, SV EOOW, or equivalent CoC
- Experience: 2 years as a 2nd Engineer. Commercial background will be considered if you have 2 years in yachting and strong references, which will be checked.
The vessel features an AZIPOD diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system, so a strong technical background is essential. Electrical knowledge and experience with CAT engines are advantageous.
The boat is recently launched and completed a short Med season, and entering an Indian Ocean winter program before returning to the Med for summer.
You’ll have a few days handover with the current 2nd Engineer for a smooth transition, and will work with highly experienced Chief Engineers who have been within the programme for years. Candidates must be organized, communicative, and highly computer literate.
