Summary
We are seeking an experienced Deckhand to join an 86m high-profile charter M/Y, currently based in the Mediterranean with a Caribbean season planned for the winter. This is a permanent position with an immediate start, joining in the Med before the vessel crosses to the Caribbean within days of the candidate joining the program.
Ideally suited to someone with at least one year of yachting experience and a clear commitment to a long-term career in the industry. Candidates must be professional, motivated, and intelligent in both appearance and demeanor, with proven large tender driving skills (8m+ twin screw essential) and strong water sports knowledge. This is a busy dual-season charter program that occasionally hosts the owner’s high-profile guests in a non-charter capacity. Lovely crew environment with a large deck team and excellent leadership on board. Must have strong references both verbal and written.
Summer 2025: Mediterranean, Winter 2025/26: Caribbean (dual-season program with busy charter schedule including Christmas and New Year’s charter)
Start Date: Immediate / Candidate must be ready to fly with all required documents in hand
Compensation Package: €3,200 per month / 60 days leave per year (taken in 2 portions)
Skills and Attributes Required:
- Minimum 1 year’s yachting experience with long-term career focus
- Proven previous charter experience (preferred)
- Proficient with all deck procedures and has strong product knowledge
- Proven large tender driving experience (8m+ twin screw essential)
- Strong water sports knowledge
- Positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and eye for detail
- Works well in a large team environment
- Additional skills that enhance the charter program (e.g. diving, music, art, specialist watersports)
