Summary
We are seeking an experienced and confident 2nd Steward to join a 40-meter new build motor yacht on a temporary contract running from December 23rd through approximately End January 2026 (with potential to go permenant).
The vessel has charters confirmed during this period so the ideal candidate must be confident stepping into an active program and capable of delivering high standards of service from the outset. The 2nd Steward will act as the right hand to the Chief Stewardess, maintaining the elevated standards of the interior. The successful individual will bring a positive, team-oriented attitude, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. Candidates must hold excellent written and verbal references and be ready to integrate quickly into a professional and fast-paced environment.
Itinerary: Winter 2025 – Caribbean
Embarkation: 22/ 23rd December
Disembarkation: 31st January 2026
Start Date: Immediate
Compensation: $4,500–$5250 per month (DOE)
Leave: 38 Days Annually (pro-rated for contract period)
MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE
Skills and Attributes Required:
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of wine, cocktail, and silver service
• Proficiency in table settings, theme parties, and floral arrangements
• Charismatic, professional, and team-oriented
• Proven previous charter experience
• High level of presentation and attention to detail
Qualifications Required:
• STCW with PDSD
• Food and Hygiene Level 2
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
Non-smoker / No visible tattoos
