BOSUN 55M:
We are looking for a hands on Bosun to join a 55m Support Vessel operating alongside a 50m private mothership, currently based in Costa Rica.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys an active, lifestyle-focused program with an adventurous, family-oriented owner and a crew that loves the outdoors.
The vessel has been cruising the West Coast of the US and Central America for the past 18 months, focusing on diving, fishing, and surfing. The owner is active and often involves the crew in these activities.
The program offers an excellent work-life balance, operating a 7am–3pm Monday to Friday schedule with weekends off when the boss is not onboard.
The Bosun will lead a deck team of 3-4. The vessel is tender and water sports-focused, operating 4–5 large tenders and a 20t crane, so strong tender handling and maintenance skills are essential.
Candidate requirements:
- Yachtmaster Offshore – essential
- B1/B2 visa – essential
- Ideally working towards OOW 3000
- Previous Bosun experience preferred, but open to a strong Lead Deckhand stepping up
- Strong tender driving and maintenance skills
- Detail-oriented, career-driven, and hands-on leader
- Active, easy going, and enjoys watersports
- Male only due to cabin arrangements
Package:
- Salary: 4500 Euros
- Leave: 3:1 rotation
