Summary
We are looking for a professional and skilled Mate to join a 34m MY based in Italy, operating in the Mediterranean Sea.
To note that there is a new launch, 40m MY with delivery set for May 2026 and with an additional Deckhand onboard to assist on deck.
This current permanent position onboard the 34m MY requires a candidate with a minimum Yachtmaster Offshore license and preferably the AEC1 license to meet manning requirements.
The role involves independently managing the deck department, adhering to basic ISM protocols, and maintaining accurate paper charts.
The ideal candidate will have completed at least one season as a Mate or equivalent, showcasing experience in tender driving and winter maintenance.
A strong work ethic, grounded demeanor, and a good sense of humor are essential.
All certifications must be current, and preference will be given to applicants based in Europe and the UK.
