Summary
Yacht Charter Executive (Trainee Broker & Operations Support)
212 Yachts is a boutique yacht brokerage based in Antibes, trusted by clients and yacht owners worldwide to deliver exceptional luxury charters. As a MYBA member, we represent some of the finest yachts on the market, known for our professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care.
We’re now looking for a Yacht Charter Executive (Trainee Broker & Operations Support) — someone ambitious, reliable, and highly organised, who’s eager to build a long-term career in luxury yachting. This is a wide-ranging role, supporting both our retail charter and charter management activities, while assisting the CEO across key operational areas of the business.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with the CEO and wider team, supporting yacht enquiries, assisting with proposals and contracts, and helping coordinate our growing fleet of charter-managed yachts. You’ll be involved in both client-facing and behind-the-scenes operations; from researching yachts and liaising with brokers, to keeping the office organised and projects moving forward.
This role will suit someone smart, driven, and adaptable, who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. You’ll be expected to learn quickly, take ownership, and deliver results early on, demonstrating your ability to handle responsibility and contribute real value. For the right person, this position offers a genuine path to becoming a full Yacht Charter Broker or Charter Manager in time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with yacht charter enquiries, research, and proposal preparation
- Communicate with brokers, captains, and owners to gather details and updates
- Support the management of charter-managed yachts (availability, listings, marketing updates, and documentation)
- Assist with contracts, invoicing coordination, and compliance (KYC, MYBA terms, etc.)
- Maintain organised systems and follow up on outstanding client or supplier tasks
- Provide reliable support to the CEO across a range of projects and operational duties
- Help train and coordinate interns or seasonal staff once confident in the role
About You
- Strong written and spoken English (French a strong advantage, but not a requirement)
- Professional, discreet, and comfortable handling sensitive information
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Eager to learn both the commercial and operational sides of yacht brokerage
- Confident using email, Excel, and standard office systems
- Prior experience in yachting, luxury travel, or high-end hospitality a plus, but not essential
- A degree is a must
- Proactive, positive, and able to manage changing priorities and deadlines
- Must have an EU passport or existing rights to work within the European Union
What We Offer
- Hands-on training across yacht brokerage, charter management, and operations
- Direct mentorship from the CEO and experienced MYBA brokers
- A clear progression route into sales and/or charter management, based on performance
- Competitive starting salary depending on experience, with scope for growth and commission over time
- Friendly, professional office environment in Antibes
- Start date: January 2026 (initial contract, with goal of long-term collaboration)
