Summary
A private owner is seeking an experienced Filipino-speaking Captain to take command of a 60ft motor yacht based in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the operation and maintenance of yachts of similar size, with excellent seamanship, navigational, and organisational skills. The role requires someone proactive, hands-on, and able to manage the day-to-day running of the vessel, including upkeep, scheduling, and safe navigation.
- Full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the yacht
- Voyage planning, maintenance oversight, and coordination with service providers
- Managing any crew or contractors as required
- Ensuring the yacht is maintained to a high standard and ready for owner use at all times
- Providing a professional and friendly onboard experience for the owner and guest
- Proven experience as Captain on similar-sized motor yachts
- Knowledge of local UAE cruising areas and regulations
- Strong mechanical understanding and hands-on approach
- Fluent in Filipino and proficient in English
- Valid licenses and up-to-date certifications
- Package is dependant on experience
- Start date is imeediate
