Chief Engineer in United States

Summary

We are currently looking fora TEMPORARY Chief Engineer for a 50 mt charter/private motor yacht,

Y3 ticket required

English speaking, male candidate. Worked on similar sized vessels, knowledge of MTU engines, Northern Light Generators, Quantum stabilizers.

Previous experience on a Christensen build is a huge plus, together with MTU specific courses

Fit for working in all the areas of the vessel and willing to help on deck if required since the boar gets very busy during charters

The ideal Chief Engineer has strong leadership skills. He leads by example, hands on. We require a proper presence, good manners, respectful and positive attitude, a team player, no smoking, no vaping, preferably no visible tattoos but no dealbreaker

Bahamas /Florida and Caribbean program.

Proven longevity and verifiable references.

Charter experience is a must

Light owner usage when not in in charter, West Palm based.

Salary 12k DOE

Start date: from 18th Nov to Jan 20th

2 charters already booked during that period

B1/B2 visa required

Male candidates due to cabin arrangements



Essential Qualifications

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
