Summary
MALE Sous Chef required to join this busy 80m+ private and charter yacht. The vessel operates at a fast pace, on a dual-season busy program. Delightful owners, who love spending time onboard with family and friends. They love to entertain and impress, so the yacht will often host for events and parties.
Summers are Mediterranean based, and Winters tend to be UAE / Indian Ocean, but TBC for this coming season.
Salary to be discussed at interview stages. Leave package is 3:1 rotation. English mother tongue or equivalent level.
Require someone who has a strong background in high-end restaurants / reputable gastro pubs perhaps, in addition to longevity within a Superyacht Galley. A skilled chef who will produce a delicious repertoire of dishes, from scratch. Someone who can work fast, in an organised and efficient manner. Excellent hygiene is a MUST. Stores maintenance, provisioning and accountancy will be part of the work-load. You will have the opportunity to support and learn from exceptionally experienced Executive Chefs. Someone who can handle constructive criticism, but equally add value and innovation to the Galley team of three.
This is an outstanding crew, with a great atmosphere onboard. Plenty of longevity within the ranks.
