Summary
Seeking a Head of Housekeeping for this 100m+ beautiful private yacht. Candidate will ideally join in the Caribbean ready to hit the ground running with Christmas and New Year’s trip(s) in the Caribbean. A thorough handover will be given. The yacht will spend Winter on that side of the Atlantic - Caribbean, USA, Bahamas, and then return to the Mediterranean for the Summer season. This is a fast-paced and demanding program, so NOT for someone who just wants to sit idle behind a desk.
B1/B2 visa ideally in hand already.

Must have experience as a Head of Housekeeping on a 70m+ yacht (or lead HK on an 100m+). Must be confident in all areas of the role. Someone who has fantastic references illustrating that she understands what it takes to turn around a yacht of this size, ready for guest usage. An excellent communicator who can prepare, and set work lists, and keep a working rota / schedule for the team (ensuring required hours of rest are complied with). Exceptional knowledge in caring for and maintaining an exquisite yacht interior. Someone who is good in administration, but equally at ease with getting stuck in and detailing with the team. A hard-working, good humoured team leader with infectious good energy. Someone who can nurture the more junior level Housekeepers, and train them up to an very high standard.
Annual budget planning for the HK department, Yard contractor / list management, provisioning, accountancy, etc. will all be aspects to the role. You will have the opportunity to work under excellent and experienced Chief Stewardesses who will support you well.
This is an incredible yacht with an amazing crew. The team is well bonded, and enjoys organising fun activities on days off. Most are very fit and active, so a likeminded type will fit in, best.
