Summary
Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior Steward(ess) to join a 70m+ private motor yacht.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- Minimum 4+ years’ interior experience on yachts, ideally with 2+ years on one vessel
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest-facing service, including Silver Service
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior crew, managing a team of interior staff
- Proficient in all aspects of interior work: housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe management, and administrative duties
- Confident managing uniforms, inventories, and provisioning under Chief Steward(ess) oversight
- Comfortable supporting Owners during outings and high-end service events (canapés, table service, cocktails, wine)
- Valid STCW, ENG1, PSA/PDSD, FH Level 2 essential
- B1/B2 visa and Schengen Visa
- Additional interior training or certifications highly regarded (e.g., GUEST, Silver Service, floral design, cocktail training)
Start: 23 October
Salary: EUR 4,000 DOE per month
Leave: 90 days per year, structured 3:1 rotation
Itinerary: Caribbean/US/Mexico in winter 25/26 and Mediterranean in summer 26.
