Summary
We are in search of a strong Bosun for a busy 50m charter yacht. The vessel runs a busy schedule and conducts between 14 - 16 weeks of charter per year. Itinerary for 2025/2026 will be Caribbean and Bahamas with plans to cruise Central America and Alaska in 2027.
The vessel tows a 42ft chase boat and the candidate needs to be proficient in safely operating a large tender and competent in towing and lifting operations. Will need to posses a good understanding of a safe onboard working culture
A bosun with experience and a keen interest in offshore fishing, kiteboarding and diving is preferred.
Minimum of a Yacht master offshore however some OOW modules are preferred. Bosun will need to be competent in the bridge as they will be required to stand navigational watches underway. The vessel has a healthy training budget and encourages crew career development.
Salary $5500-6000 plus tips
38 days leave to start. Happy to consider additional leave after completing probation.
