Summary
We are looking for a Second Engineer to join a 55m+ private M/Y. The vessel is currently in Australia and will be cruising the South Pacific. They currently run with a Chief, 2nd and 3rd Engineer so the ideal candidate must be a strong team player and willing to teach.
This is an active program involving surf, diving and water sports. The vessel is currently based in Western Australia but they have plans to explore Indonesia and the South Pacific with some exciting things to come.
The ideal candidate:
- Y4 minimum
- All certificates up to date
- Minimum 1 year in a Second Engineer position on 50m+ yachts or offshore/expedition vessels
- Previous experience with Damen, MTU 2000 series, or similar systems highly advantageous
- Sound knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with tender operations, cranes, and watercraft systems maintenance
Salary: TBC in AU$
