Summary
We’re seeking a motivated and career-driven Second Officer to join a 60m private motor yacht currently in France.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified OOW to step and gain solid bridge experience while working toward their Chief Mate 3k. You’ll be responsible for all core 2/O duties, including LSA/FFE oversight and digital chart & publication management, with Raytheon ECDIS experience a strong advantage.
You will help run a deck team of 5 (C/O, 2/O plus 2-3 deckhands) on trip and be responsible for the day to day runnings of the deck. This is a hands on role, not exclusively on the bridge.
The vessel operates with a professional, mixed-nationality crew of 16, offering a supportive environment for an officer looking to grow. The successful candidate will join during a short yard period before the yacht crosses from the Med to Florida, USA (exact destination TBC).
Package:
Salary $6,500 USD+ DOE (above industry standard)

Requirements:
Valid B1/B2 visa (essential) – please do not apply without one
OOW 3000 CoC (or equivalent)
Prior large-yacht experience; ideal for someone stepping up from Bosun to 2/O
