We are seeking a motivated Deckhand to join a 42m private yacht based in South Florida. This is a rare opportunity for someone who values a balanced lifestyle while remaining in yachting.
Program Overview:
- Private use only, very limited owner usage
- Primarily a Monday–Friday, 9–5 schedule
- Occasional, short trips to the Bahamas
- Local, stable program with long-term potential
Responsibilities:
- General deck duties, maintenance, and washdowns
- Assisting the Engineer as needed with routine tasks and projects
- Supporting operations during trips and yard periods
Ideal Candidate:
- Currently based in South Florida or willing to fly themselves to the vessel (no flights provided)
- Fluent in English; Spanish language skills preferred
- Hands-on, team-oriented, and eager to take on varied responsibilities
- Looking for a long-term, local position with a private, low-use program
