Summary
We are assisting a wonderful family with the recruitment of an experienced, kind, and flexible
Housekeeper to work on a part-time basis to support the smooth running of two large family homes
located very near to each other in Middleton, Staffordshire. Easy going and hard-working, you will
manage your time effectively and be responsible for general cleaning, laundry and ironing, as well as
the general organisation and tidiness of the homes.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in high-end luxury homes and know how to
maintain surfaces and fabrics with fine finishes. The role will be shared across both homes, and while
specific tasks will be given, we are looking for someone who can also use their initiative and take pride
in their work. No cooking will be required as part of the role, but if the Housekeeper is able to bake
the occasional cake or sweet treat, this would be an added bonus. Due to the location of the homes,
a driver with their own reliable vehicle is required for this role.
Working 5 hours per day, 5 times per week, the schedule will alternate weekly – in one week two days
will be spent at one home and three days spent at the second home and the following week the
arrangement will be swapped. The family are flexible with which hours are worked and the role can
be on payroll or on a self-employed basis. If additional hours are required, ad hoc babysitting can be
arranged for the right candidate. There are no pets at the property.
