A rare opportunity has opened up for an Chief Stew to join a prestigious 80m+ motor yacht. The yacht operates both private and charter with an exciting dual-season programme and is well known for having a supportive crew culture and excellent long-term prospects.
The Role
This is a hands-on Chief Stew position, leading and supporting a team of nine rotating interior crew, including spa specialists and medical staff. The role requires both strong operational management and the willingness to work alongside the team in service, housekeeping, spa, and laundry when needed. You will work closely with the galley and deck departments, oversee budgets, rotas, inventories, and purchasing, and play a key part in ensuring the highest standards across guest and crew areas.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Planning and scheduling for the interior in line with MLC regulations
- Overseeing maintenance, improvements, and yard period projects within the interior department
- Managing budgets, accounts, and cost controls
- Organising crew training and appraisals
- Preparing for guest trips, including charter planning and preference updates
- Driving service and hospitality standards through training and mentorship
The Ideal Candidate
- Female due to cabin arrangements
- Proven longevity in senior interior roles on large yachts of similar size and calibre
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach
- Up-to-date maritime certification, including valid STCW refreshers
- Valid B1/B2 visa (essential), plus any additional visas relevant to worldwide cruising
- Excellent references that highlight leadership ability and professional standards
Package
- Salary: €8,480 per month, with annual reviews
- Rotation: 8 weeks on / 8 weeks off

Itinerary
