Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Mate for a 50m+ motor yacht
Requirements & Responsibilities
· Chief Officer 3000 preferred
· Proficient in passage planning and conducting navigational watches
· Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, navigation and watchkeeping
· Excellent tender driver with chase boats
· Confident in deck maintenance and repairs to assist and oversee the Deck Department
· Comfortable with daily, weekly, and monthly checks
· Excellent communication skills, well-organised and motivated and who can manage their time efficiently
· Strong focus on teamwork and mentoring junior crew
· Must be hands-on when required
Start date: Mid-October
Location: Med
Salary: EUR 6500
Leave: 38 days – very generous time off during winter for courses
Vessel and Itinerary – Charter vessel, based in the Med for Winter
