Summary
We are URGENTLY looking for an experienced, friendly and professional 2nd Steward/ess to join a 70m+ Private MY.
Our candidate has min. 2 years in a leading role on a 60m+ MY, with proven longevity. Please note, this is not an entry level position.
We are looking for a candidate who is confident in interacting with guests of all levels, has excellent service skills and a confident refinement in the service they provide. Strong Cocktail skills are essential.
Our ideal candidate is organized, a great communicator and capable of thinking outside the box, switched-on, observant and can "read the room". A down-to-earth, level-headed candidate, full of energy and with a great sense of humour. Detail orientated and pro-active, you will see a job through and prioritise effectively to ensure the highest standards are met. Hands-on and willing to assist wherever needed.
Many of the crew onboard has worked for the owner for a long time, so crew retention is HIGH.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Chief Steward(ess) in all aspects of interior operations
- Overseeing and mentoring junior stewardesses
- Providing high-level service, including table settings, bartending, and guest care
- Housekeeping and laundry duties when there are no guests onboard
- Assisting with provisioning and inventory management
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day interior operations

Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, PDSD, Food & Hygiene Level 2
Requirements for application: Min 2 years' experience in a similar position on a similar size vessel, with proven longevity and verifiable references. Strong Cocktails knowledge and Service Skills, able to step up to Chief Steward/ess in her absence.
Salary: 5,000 Euros
