Summary
We are looking for two talented sous chefs to join a 90m private motoryacht. This is great opportunity to take full ownership of the galley alongside another sous chef, creating exciting, varied menus and cooking for a crew of 18. With no head chef on board, you’ll have the freedom to showcase your creativity and passion for food every day.
The yacht is currently for sale and not guest operational, so the focus will be on keeping the crew well-fed and happy with top-quality meals. However, there may be occasions where guest-style cuisine is required for potential buyers, so confidence and flair in stepping up to fine dining standards is important.
This role is perfect for chefs who enjoy collaboration, organisation, and the satisfaction of running a galley to a high standard. Duties will include everything from menu planning and provisioning to maintaining stores and ensuring a clean, well-managed galley. Previous provisioning experience is preferred, and a genuine love for cooking and team spirit is essential.
The position offers a 5:1 rotation with a start date at the end of September and mid October.
Plans for the yacht at this stage are a yard period in Barcelona then heading across to US to continue the sales campaign.
