Sous Chef – 60m Private Motor Yacht
We are looking for a Sous Chef to join a well-established, busy world cruising programme with long-standing American owners. Excellent longevity onboard!
The yacht is currently in Denmark and will continue an exciting global itinerary, including Holland, USA, and then onto the Pacific. The owners are very active, family-oriented, and enjoy getting the crew involved in excursions such as scuba diving and other adventures ashore.
Role & Expectations:
- Working alongside the Head Chef to deliver nutritious, comforting dishes with a family-style approach using simple, quality ingredients.
- Confident stepping into the galley solo when the Head Chef is on a break.
- A good all-rounder with a pastry background would be a bonus, as the owners are gluten-free.
- Team spirit is key, everyone helps each other on board, and the right candidate will enjoy contributing beyond their immediate role.
- Must be genuinely kind, healthy, active, and happy, a good personality fit is just as important as skills.
The Package:
- Salary: 6,000 USD p/m
- 13th month bonus
- 60 days flexible leave
- Start date: End of September – Late October
- Open to male and female candidates
- B1/B2 visa preferred
- Candidates with experience on smaller yachts are welcome
Crew Dynamic:
